.NET Domain Names
When the .NET generic domain name extension was first launched in 1985, along with the first domain extensions on the web, it was meant to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure establishments. Because there were no particular regulations about the usage of the top-level domain, though, dot NET domains were secured and used for diverse purposes and by lots of people. This extension is an ideal substitute of .COM, notably if the necessary domain with the latter domain extension is not free for registration.
Ordering a dot NET domain with our firm is a piece of cake and takes barely a couple of minutes, in view of the fact that we work with an ICANN-accredited registrar firm. You can book such a domain for a time interval between one and ten years, or, if you already have a domain, you can transfer it to our firm and we will renew it once the transfer process is finalized. Transfers are available for all domain names, which are at least sixty days old, provided that they are unlocked and that you have an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures established by the .NET Registry organization against unauthorized transfers. You can easily change the WHOIS contact information of the domain through your Control Panel tool, or, if you don't wish this information to be public at all, you can buy a Whois Privacy Protection service, so nobody will be able to check your true contact info.
The dot NET top-level domain name extension supports internationalized names, so you can pick if you want to concentrate on a certain country or zone using a domain name in the local language, or the global web community – using a generic English name.
